Pass by the iconic Parliament building before crossing the Danube River by the Margaret Bridge and making the ascent to the Royal Castle area on the Buda side, where you will enjoy a short walk to the Fisherman’s Bastion and see the stunning exterior of Matthias Church.
  • Next, sit back as you journey up Gellért Hill, where you will enjoy a photo stop and time to take in the panoramic views over Budapest. Afterwards, the coach will take you across the Elizabeth Bridge and along Andrássy Avenue to the imposing and breathtaking Heroes’ Square. Pass by the Opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica on the way back to the Intercontinental Hotel, where the bus tour comes to an end in order to start the Danube cruise experience.
  • Departing from Vigadó Square Blur River, this river cruise has 2 stopovers. Passing by the imposing building of the Parliament you can admire the panorama of Margaret Island.   • On the return to Budapest is the artist’s village of Szentendre. A small baroque city at the gate of the Danube Bend, it is the meeting place of the river Danube and the Pilis mountains, and has a beautiful natural backdrop.
  • Walking around the baroque settlement, built on medieval ruins make your way through the narrow streets to a vantage point atop the city for great views of the Danube. Simply enjoy the special atmosphere of this village and should you wish, take the opportunity to visit the museums such as the world-famous Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum or the Confectionery Museum with buildings and people made of marzipan.
