Visit one of Austria´s most picturesque villages with this afternoon tour to Hallstatt. Travel through the famous Salzkammergut (lake area) and enjoy the magical alpine region.
After meeting your guide in Salzburg we head out on a picturesque journey to the ‘Pearl of Salzkammergut’, Hallstatt, passing through quaint local villages on the way. On arrival in Hallstatt it’s hard to know where to start, baroque-style homes scattered along the waterfront with mountain peaks reflecting in the water make this an experience in nature you won’t forget.
Take a mountain train ride up to the entrance of the world’s oldest salt mine for views over Hallstatt and to learn about its 7,000 year history of salt mining. Enjoy a leisurely lakeside walk to see houses clinging on to the mountain-side on your way to Muhlbach Waterfall. Visit the local museum to learn all about Hallstatt, and a must-see is the Bone House behind the Catholic church for an insight into local family life.
Finish the tour travelling back via Abtenau and Russbach to Gosau Lake, famous for its beautiful views over the Dachtsein Mountains for a picture-postcard ending to our tour.

Travel to Northern Switzerland and the Black Forest on this day trip in a climate-controlled bus from Zurich. Have some free time to explore the charming town of Titisee and capture pictures of the most powerful waterfall in Europe at Rhine Falls.
Enjoy pickup from an area next to the centrally-located Zurich HB train station. Board a spacious bus and relax while taking in views of the sparkling waters of Lake Schluchsee on the way to the town of Titisee.
Listen to a short introduction on how the locals get the popular cuckoo clocks to sing at the Drubba watch showroom. Spend some time exploring the town at your own pace where you can purchase a boat ride on the lake or buy a delicious slice of Black Forest cake which is made with cherry brandy.
Hop back aboard the bus for a drive through impressive spruce forests and the town of Lenzkirch. Arrive at the Rhine Falls to admire this stunning waterfall that is 150-meters wide. Have some free time where you can purchase a boat cruise before returning to the Zurich HB train station.

Live the high life on Mount Titlis with this exhilarating full-day guided tour to the summit of one of the most emblematic peaks in the Alps.
Mount Titlis offers snow and fun all year round on the highest peak of Central Switzerland.
From Zurich you will embark on a scenic coach journey southwards through picturesque landscapes via the Albis Pass and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Forested Cantons (as Lake Lucerne is romantically called in German) to Lucerne.
We’ll stop in this historic city for a brief tour orientation tour of the main sights like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church and the Culture and Convention Centre KKL. . You will then have some time to explore the Old Town at your own leisure. Admire the frescoed façades and fairy-tale turrets of the narrow streets and marvel at the wooden Chapel Bridge.
Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey to Engelberg, the picture-postcard alpine village nestling at the foot of Mount Titlis. We’ll take a number of cable cars to reach the summit, which is more than 3,000 metres above sea level. Enjoy the spectacular sight of the glacier’s deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders from the revolving gondola lift, allowing you an unrestricted 360-degree view of the landscape.
At the top of Mount Titlis, a high alpine panorama awaits you. Enjoy magnificent views of the Alps from the restaurants or the sun terrace. Visit the shimmering 350-metre-long Ice Grotto or take a ride with the IceFlyer, which brings you close to the crevasses.
