After getting picked up from your hotel, enjoy a stroll through the streets of the Old Town towards Metekhi Church and learn all about the history of Tbilisi’s formation. In Shardeni Street, discover an open-air carpet market, visit Sioni Church and see the unique clock tower of the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater. You will also discover the fascinating story behind the Anchiskhati Church and get to sample local wine.
  • Next, ride a panoramic cable car up to the imposing “Kartlis Deda” (Mother Of Georgia) monument, from which point you can admire panoramic views of the entire city. Pay a visit to Narikala Fortress before beginning your descent down the mountain. Head to the Sulfur Baths District, stopping to admire impressive views of the Leghvtakhevi Gorge and Vakhtang Gorgasali monument along the way. 

    Finish your walking tour with a romantic stroll along the Bridge of Love to reach a picturesque waterfall located in the center of the city. 

    You will head to the western part of Georgia from Tbilisi towards Mtskheta. Mtskheta was the capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the third century BC and is one of the oldest towns and the cultural and religious center of Georgia. Next, visit the Jvari Monastery, a true architectural masterpiece of the early medieval period built on a hilltop. From the hill, gaze down to the merging Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers below, and enjoy a stop to take photos. 

    With your local guide, continue onto Gori, the homeland of Stalin, to visit Stalin’s house, museum and train wagon. At the Stalin museum, learn about the life of the infamous dictator at the exhibit which includes unique photos, gifts, and furniture.

Day 6 - Free Day | OR Optional Tour Ananuri-Gudauri-Kazbegi Tour

  • Your tour will start from your hotel.Firstly you will visit Jinvali Dam, the largest reservoir of eastern Georgia. Following this you will visit the fortress of Ananuri, which is one of the best monuments of late feudal Georgia. Although there are not so few monuments like this on the territory of the country, it is Ananuri that helps to understand clearly how people lived at that distant time. Ananurian structures, unlike other similar structures, are perfectly preserved. This particular feature evokes interest in the fortress of both tourists and historians, and since 2011, this fortress has held the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Following Ananuri, you will head to Gudauri, a ski resort situated on a south-facing plateau of the greater Caucasus Mountain. After the ski resort, you will encounter the People’s Friendship Arch, an inspiration of the famous sculptor Tsereteli. It was built at an altitude of 2,384 meters in the Kazbegi district, on the cross pass near the Military Georgian Road. 

Later on, you will visit the Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) Trinity Church in Gergeti. On the slope of the majestic Kazbek Mountain, among the snow-covered ranges, is the ancient Georgian Trinity Church. It is located at an altitude of 2,170 meters near the town of Stepantsminda and the village of Gergeti. Towards the end of your tour, you will have the option for dinner in a Pasanauri restaurant, before you are returned to your hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 7 - Bodbe - Sighnaghi Tour

Your next destination is Badiauri, where guests are welcome to taste delicious Georgian bread, cheese, and Chacha. Then go on a lovely trip to Signagi, one of the most beautiful towns in the area, with unusually peculiar architecture, charming houses, cobblestone streets, defensive walls, and spectacular views of the Caucasus range. Sighnaghi was nicknamed ‘the city of love’ for all the weddings it hosts. Sighnaghi is an incredibly romantic little town to explore on foot. 

Just 2 km from Signaghi, you will find Bodbe Monastery. The area around the monastery is covered by wonderful flowers, bushes, and vineyards. You can have lunch in Sighnaghi city and afterwards drive back to Tbilisi hotel
