  • The fjords, inlets, villages and sandy beaches located a short drive outside Tromsø are an absolutely stunning region that travellers from all over the world love to explore. The benefit of venturing into nature on this tour is that you can see the most amazing places in the area, while staying warm and comfortable in a modern minibus. This tour has been specifically created to show you some of the most special fjords in the area in a comfortable setting. Your professional and knowledgeable guides know the area well and love to you their favourite places whilst providing history and local knowledge along the way. 
  • Before the tour takes off you will meet at the local operators basecamp in central Tromsø for a briefing and introduction to the area you will explore for the day. The bus will pick you up outside of the basecamp so there is no need to walk far or get cold on the way. After the tour, you can enjoy the warm lounge at the basecamp for as long as you wish, where you can charge your camera for the evening and plan your next “golden moment” in the arctic.
  • This tour offers a day of exploring the fjords that are facing the massive Atlantic ocean, while enjoying the genuine setting of a small group and an experienced guide. It’s a tour for the entire family, and you will get the opportunity to ask questions, take pictures and stretch your legs in this amazing arctic environment.
  • During the tour you will stop for coffee/tea and a light meal at a local favourite spot. You will provided with warm safety suits, gloves and boots to make this Arctic experience as comfortable as possible. The car is always warm and if you are interested in taking some photos when you stop you can borrow tripods for free. Group sizes are always kept small (up to 15 people), to ensure you receive a personalised experience and connection with your guides.

  • Hunt for Northern Lights on a guided trip from Tromso. Hone your photography skills with a quick workshop and admire the Norwegian landscapes as you go. Finish your trip with a cup of hot chocolate.
  • Meet your crew in Tromso, put on your reflective vests, and climb aboard the comfortable coach to get ready for departure. 
  • Drive past fjords and mountains until you reach the best spot to see the northern lights, relying on a strong network of technical resources deployed in the region. 
  • Listen to your guides’ detailed explanation about the scientific phenomenon of the Aurora Borealis and all the stories surrounding it, and get insights into the Arctic and its capital.
  • Benefit from a photo workshop by a photographer on the way, helping you to set up your camera and providing you with all the information needed to capture stunning shots of the Northern Lights.
  • If you choose to, have a professional Aurora portrait taken by the photographer for a lasting memory, before you return to Tromso at around 1:00 AM.

  • Experience the pristine beauty of the Arctic landscapes and fjords on a catamaran cruise. Observe native wildlife in their natural habitat with insightful commentary from a local guide.
  • Board a comfortable catamaran in the Tromsø city center. Marvel at the Arctic landscape and the beautiful fjords. Learn about Norway’s wildlife, fishing, aquaculture, local villages, and weather from your knowledgeable guide.
  • Take photos from either the indoor or outdoor viewing decks. Enjoy hot coffee or tea, while admiring the unique natural setting. Pick up snacks at the kiosk on board if you feel hungry.
  • During late October to late January, have the best chance of seeing a humpback whale, killer whale (orca), harbor porpoise, or even a fin whale. Arrive at the whale feeding site and enjoy 1-1.5 hours to take an up-close look at the feast.

  • Experience the wilderness of Tromsø from the most authentic perspective on a half-day dog sled experience. Learn the art of mushing and let a team of husky dogs pull you across the snow.
  • Jump aboard the sled and shout the command to make the dogs move. Each sled will be pulled by our trained athletic dogs but don’t forget, sometimes you will have to help them out and push a sled a little bit. Feel the fresh air on your face and get incredible views along the way.
  • Each sled is shared with a passenger, and at the half-way mark you will get the chance to swap places. Return to camp for a warm meal and time around an open fire.
